PSYCHOLOGIST 

ABOUT JESSICA

Jessica has completed Masters in Educational and Developmental psychology. She is passionate about using a collaborative, client-centred therapeutic approach with children and young people and tailoring interventions that are suited to their needs, as well as being part of their journey in improving their social, emotional, and behavioural skills that are needed to cultivate resilience, confidence, improve wellbeing and flourish to their full potential.

 

Jessica comes with experience working within a school setting and private practice conducting cognitive and educational assessments, counselling primary and secondary school-aged students, facilitating respectful relationships program, and planning and organising school-based events. Jessica is passionate about utilising cognitive and educational assessments to identify and capitalise strength and weaknesses of students to help promote and facilitate their capability in the classroom.

 

Jessica has a particular interest in autism, specifically females with autism. She has recently completed research, which looks at evaluating the effectiveness of social skills interventions for females with autism. Therapeutically, Jessica is able to see children and adults.
