AUTISM ASSESSMENTS

We offer diagnostic assessments of autism for children and adults.

Autism is is a lifelong diagnosis, which  requires an input form a team of professionals. Apart from a psychologist, the autism team may include a paediatrician, psychiatrist, speech pathologist and occupational therapist.

Brain Matters offers psychological part of the autism assessment. We use GOLD standard tools for assessment of autism and provide a comprehensive report with psychological opinion. Usually, a child is then seen by a paediatrician or psychiatrist to receive the overall diagnostic opinion.
