Autism Assessments
Autism is a lifelong neurotype that influences how a person understands the world, communicates, and engages with others and their interests. Autistic people may have unique strengths, preferences, and patterns of thinking that reflect natural neurological diversity.
When a formal diagnosis is sought, this typically involves a comprehensive assessment, including a collaborative clinical interview, gathering developmental history, and observing an individual’s communication and behaviour across different contexts.
What should I bring?
If the person being assessed uses reading glasses, please remember to bring them along to appointments.
For children under 13, we ask that you also pack a bottle of water and two different snacks in separate transparent containers.
