Dr Jennifer McDowall

Jennifer (Jen) is a senior clinical neuropsychologist experienced and a Board approved supervisor. She provides psychological assessments and therapy to clients across lifespan and strives to provide a safe environment for clients and client parents. Jennifer has worked with clients with a wide range of presentations such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), autism, ADHD, dementia, multiple sclerosis etc. She has provided numerous complex neuropsychology assessments for medicolegal purposes, and has worked in public system, university setting and private practice.

 

At Brain Matters, Jennifer’s focus is to provide psychological assessments and treatments to clients with a wide range of presentations. She is involved in assessments of autism, ADHD, neuropsychology assessments, and also more complex medico-legal (e.g., capacity) assessments. Jennifer also helps support less experienced psychologists at Brain Matters by providing supervision. Therapeutically, Jennifer uses evidence-based practice such as CBT and mindfulness.

 

In private life, Jennifer is a mother of two who enjoys travel and learning about different cultures.
