ABOUT CORINNA
Corinna is a provisional psychologist passionate about working with clients in a collaborative manner, supporting them in achieving their personal goals and improving their mental health. She has a compassionate and client-centred approach with her clients, encouraging them to share their experiences in a safe space. Corinna uses techniques from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within intervention sessions. She also provides psychological assessments for clients exploring diagnoses of ADHD and/or Autism, providing tailored recommendations for each client's challenges no matter the outcome.
Corinna has an interest in helping clients manage their anxiety better. She has past experience from an anxiety helpline and has co-facilitated a support group for adults with obsessive compulsive disorder. Corrina has also gained experience from two psychology clinics in the past where she provided psychological assessments and therapy to clients of all age groups. She takes a person-centred and neuro-affirming approach and strives to ensure the clients feel welcome and safe during psychology sessions. Corrina is most interested in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and has recently completed research on the topic for her degree. She is currently completing her final year of Master of Clinical Psychology.
