Human beings have an amazing capacity to think. However, just like everything else, thinking too much is not productive. As such, being frequently on an 'automatic pilot' starts to create difficulties for our mental health and plays a vital role in perpetuating mental health difficulties such as those experienced in depression and anxiety.

Mindfulness is one of psychological therapeutic

techniques which teaches us how to be more present in the 'here and now'.

Evidence suggests that mindfulness can assists in stress reduction and treatment of anxiety and depression.
